Safety PAL is incredibly proud to have been named in the Maserati 100 List (produced in conjunction with The Sunday Times), recognising us as among the top hundred innovative entrepreneurs in the UK.
For the fifth Maserati 100 List the theme was ‘innovators’ – recognising those who have contributed original thinking to their industry and celebrating the positive impact entrepreneurs have on the economy and society as a whole. Importantly, the list only recognises those who have been able to convert innovation into a successful business, rather than innovation for innovation’s sake.
As the Sunday Times stated:
“They have not selected the big-name entrepreneurs who have made their exits and can sit on their laurels.
Instead, their choices recognise many founders who have spent years chipping away at the coalface, constantly improving their products and services.
That culture is hard to maintain. Look at your own company and ask yourself how innovative it is — and how innovative it claims or wants to be.
That gap tells you something very obvious: if it were easy to be an innovator we’d all be one.”
Karl Spencer, Founder and Managing Director of Safety PAL attended the awards celebration on 20th March, and had this to say:
“I am both honoured and humbled to be recognised for the efforts that myself and the whole team at Safety PAL have made.
We are dedicated to introducing 21st-century technological solutions into businesses to prevent workplace accidents and to make sure directors understand their legal obligations. It’s something that I’m very passionate about, and I’m very grateful to be recognised for that – alongside so many others who are outstanding in their field.
I’d like to thank The Sunday Times and the Maserati for this award and for putting on such a great night.”
