Safety PAL has partnered with a local Health and Safety Training organisation to provide an engaging course to explain in plain English different duties and roles of the Designer, Principal designers, Principal contractors and contractors under CDM regulations.

Construction Design and Management Regulations 2015 (CDM 2015) details the responsibilities of duty holders, and how they are each accountable for health and safety on any construction projects you undertake.

If your company participates in any construction work, ranging from major building projects to small on-offs, right through to odd items of repair and maintenance or ongoing maintenance contracts, whether in the commercial or domestic markets, you need to understand these regulations.

This Safety PAL CDM Regulations course is unique…

We don’t just read you the regulations. We’ll show you how to implement them in your business, with active workshops and efficient solutions to bring all the elements together to ensure you’ll be compliant with the law.

If you are looking for a nice certificate to show off you have listened to someone for 2-4 hours about regulations which you can simply download anyway – this course is not for you.

But if you want to ensure you and your team fully understand the regulations and have the required information and tools to deliver health and safety as legally required, THEN BOOK THIS COURSE NOW.

Why you need to improve your knowledge and delivery

Since 2018, the fines for breaches of the Construction (Design and Management) Regulations 2015 exceed £3.3million. These breaches are due to failing to plan, failing to monitor, and failing to manage projects in line with the regulations – and all tiers of the project (i.e. business owners, contractors, designers) have been prosecuted.

What this course covers

The HSE does not require any Designer, Principal designer, Principal contractor or contractor to undertake a certificated course in CDM, they simply ask you have competent persons:

  • who sensibly plan and managed the project from start to finish
  • cooperate and coordinate your work
  • manage the risks
  • communicate information effectively
  • consult and engage with workers

And that’s what our Construction (Design and Management) Regulations 2015 (CDM 2015) course delivers.
