Time is ticking, and we all want to return to some form of normality, but as business owners, we need delivery and proof, as Inspectors are out and about.

You and your organisation may have already resumed operations by creating dedicated COVID-19 Company Policy and associated COVID-19 Risk Assessments, including many control measures. But have you disseminated these new and essential documents out to all departments, divisions and frontline workers?

Furthermore, what steps do you have in place to check the new policies and procedures are working by monitoring feedback from workers?

Based on the recent Health and Safety Executive (HSE) press release calling for businesses in Great Britain to make sure they’re COVID-19 secure, there has never been a more critical time for businesses ensure they are taking reasonable steps to control the risk and protect people from coronavirus.

The press release states ‘Inspectors are OUT and ABOUT’ spot-checking employers are complying with health and safety law.

It is imperative to prove your workforce has read, understood and are following your new policies and procedures!
